Guests can also visit the Grains and Grounds café, which is open 24 hours daily, for small bites and coffee.  For casual dining, there’s a dedicated food court on the main gaming floor. The casino’s attached hotel has two towers: one is four stories tall, and the other is 12 stories tall. It includes a rooftop pool that is accessible for those staying in the hotel’s luxury suites.

For other guests, a 15,000 square foot pool is equipped with lounge chairs, cabanas and is the ideal relaxing point for many of the casino resort’s patrons. History Of Chumash Casino

Chumash Casino Resort operates legally according to gambling agreements made between California tribes and the California state government. It originally opened in 1994 as a much smaller casino.

In 2002, the Chumash tribe began to expand the casino, making it one of its largest assets and totaling over 190,000 ft.². After the renovations, the new casino opened its doors again in 2003. The 106-room hotel opened in 2004, allowing the casino to offer a full resort experience.

In 2016, the casino closed once again for renovations that would add more gaming space and entertainment venues. Since reopening, the casino has received 13 AAA Four-Diamond Awards.
