Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, is a football stadium that opened in 2014. Its primary tenants are the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers, while it was also home to the annual San Francisco Bowl (NCAA) and numerous other popular events over the years (including WrestleMania 31 in 2015, which had the stadium’s record attendance of 76,976).
If you wish to place a bet on the 49ers game or any other sporting event at Levi’s Stadium, you’ll have to go to one of the neighboring states where sports betting is legal.
California missed its opportunity to legalize sports betting as both Proposition 26 and 27 ended with a resounding “no” during the Nov. 2022 ballot. There are no legal online and retail sportsbooks in California at the moment and chances are that we won’t see any in the next few years — whether at sports venues or elsewhere throughout the state.
You can still visit Levi’s Stadium and enjoy a good game or a concert. Here are some of the questions we’ll answer in our stadium overview below:

About Levi’s Stadium
- 4900 Marie P DeBartolo Way, Santa Clara, CA 95054
Levi’s Stadium is located in Santa Clara, a city near San Jose in the San Francisco Bay Area. It’s the home ground of the San Francisco 49ers while it was also the site of the Pac-12 Football Championship Game and the San Francisco Bowl for several years.
Levi’s Stadium’s capacity is 68,500, although it can be extended during special events, which is why the record attendance was 76,976 during WrestleMania 31.
History and Ownership
The construction broke ground in April 2012 and was completed in July 2014, with the costs estimated at $1.3 billion. Famous jeans company Levi Strauss & Co. purchased the naming rights for the stadium in 2013, giving the venue a witty nickname: the Field of Jeans.
Ever since it was finished in 2014, Levi’s Stadium was the home field of the San Francisco 49ers, who previously played at Candlestick Park. It was also the stadium chosen for Super Bowl 50 where the Denver Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers.
Restaurants and Nearby Amenities
Levi’s Stadium is full of food and beverage options for fans in every section, including Super Duper Burgers, Chicken Guy, Hula Truck, Tenders & Fries, Sandi’s, Puesto, Tostitos, and more. Levi’s Stadium Partnerships
Since sports betting hasn’t arrived in California, Levi’s Stadium is yet to establish any partnerships with sports betting brands.
However, it’s worth noting that the San Francisco 49ers have signed a partnership deal with Cache Creek Casino Resort and the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation in 2021, resulting in a 1,400 sq/ft Cache Creek Club located inside the stadium.
This suggests that the team and the stadium are open to partnerships from the gambling industry and could likely find a betting partner in future years.
Levi’s Stadium Rewards
The stadium doesn’t have any specific rewards program. Still, the 49ers have a set of benefits prepared for their season ticket holders, including member-inclusive menus, annual season gifts, dining, team store discounts, and more.
