Trevor Lawrence Over 1.5 Pass TDs (-130)

Lawrence passed for four touchdowns in last week’s come-from-behind win over the Chargers, and it feels like the former No. 1 overall pick is starting to come into his own in Jacksonville.

Also, and this is the key here: We’re thinking the Jaguars will play from behind for a good chunk of its game in Kansas City. They will likely need to pass a lot, and that gives us even more reason to believe Lawrence will toss at least two touchdowns. The -130 odds suggest oddsmakers feel the same.

New York Giants (+7.5) at Philadelphia Eagles (-110)

We might regret this pick on Saturday, because the Eagles are really, really good. But the Giants’ offense against Minnesota looked like the type of offense that can keep a team in high-pressure, anything-can-happen playoff games.

The Week 18 result is even more reason to believe New York can at least lose by a touchdown or less. Philadelphia beat the Giants 22-16. It played its main starters — Jalen Hurts, Miles Sanders, A.J. Brown — because it still had the No. 1 seed in the NFC to gain. New York, meanwhile, rested its main starters — no Daniel Jones or Saquon Barkley — because its spot was already locked.

A limited Giants team played a normal Eagles team that close. Give us a Danny Dimes-led Giants team to do the same Saturday.

Cincinnati Bengals (+5) at Buffalo Bills (-110)

For a second, we thought about picking Cincinnati straight-up at +200.

But, after losing last week’s parlay by a painful 2 points, we want a win this weekend. So, we’ll take the Bengals to cover against a Buffalo team that showed its turnover weakness in a 34-31 win over a hampered Miami Dolphins team.

The Bills enter Sunday’s tilt on an eight-game winning streak, but not a particularly impressive one. (Yes, we know that’s an oxymoron.)

Meanwhile, Cincinnati didn’t look very good in its 24-17 win over Baltimore last week. But its Week 13 win against Kansas City (27-24) shows what it can do when it plays its best football. For this parlay, we’ll bank on seeing the Week 13 Bengals instead of the Wild Card weekend Bengals.

Brock Purdy Over 1.5 Pass TDs (-135)

We rode the Brock Purdy Train successfully last weekend, and we’ll do the same this Sunday in prime time.

This bet isn’t asking Purdy to play as remarkably as the Iowa State rookie QB has through his historic seven-game stretch. It just needs him to throw two or more touchdowns, which he has done in all seven of those games.

Remember: A 25-yard catch-and-run from Deebo Samuel, Christian McCaffrey, or George Kittle counts just the same as a perfectly thrown TD that asks more of the quarterback. We’ll take Purdy to either flash his magic or find one of his dynamic playmakers at least a couple times against the Cowboys.

Our one reservation: Dallas is the best defense Purdy has faced. But nothing has fazed him so far, so we’ll see.
